NUVOtv’s Quarterly Film Showcase Nu Point of View: The Emerging Latino Filmmakers to Provide a Showcase Platform Reaching Millions

LOS ANGELES, CA October 28, 2013 — NUVOtv, the premiere English-language network created for the modern Latino audience, announced the network’s first-ever emerging Latino filmmakers showcase, “Nu Point of View: The Emerging Latino Filmmakers”, providing filmmakers with a platform for national exposure and NUVOtv’s audience with unique, independent film content. “Nu Point of View: The Emerging Latino Filmmakers” will air as a film showcase that celebrates the talent, verve and voice of American Latino filmmakers whose work exemplifies multiculturalism at its finest. A panel of filmmakers, producers, directors, writers and industry experts will select the winning titles. NUVOtv’s Chief Creative Officer Jennifer Lopez and her Nuyorican Productions will collaborate on the project. Selected works will be featured as part of the three-hour Nu Point of View showcase special, premiering exclusively on NUVOtv, March 2014.

In addition to coveted television time, winning titles will receive promotional support in the form of on-air promos and national publicity. Also, NUVOtv’s award-winning promotional team will produce an original profile vignette of each filmmaker introducing their submitted work for the Nu Point of View special.
