Wädenswil, Switzerland — June 15, 2016 — Swiss Academic Software is offering graduate students working on a thesis or dissertation this summer a free writing toolkit.
The toolkit includes a download and trial license key for Citavi, a software program for academic research projects. A weekly newsletter offers thesis-writing productivity tips throughout the summer. In addition, participants will be entered in a weekly drawing for a free, non-expiring license for Citavi. Students can sign up at www.citavi.com/summer.
The summer campaign also includes a contest. Graduate students can submit stories, videos, or images for how Citavi saved their summers by increasing their productivity. The winner will receive Citavi licenses for his or her entire academic department.
Additional information about the thesis-writing toolkit and the contest can be found at www.citavi.com/summer. A promotional video for the campaign can be viewed on YouTube at www.citavi.com/summer-video.
About Citavi
First released in Switzerland in 2006, Citavi is the leading reference management program in the German-speaking world. Since publication of the English-language version in 2010, it has gradually become more widely known internationally as well. Over the past 10 years, hundreds of thousands of individual users have chosen Citavi as the preferred tool for their academic work. In addition, over 250 universities have site licenses for Citavi, allowing their students, faculty, and staff to use Citavi for Windows at no cost.
Citavi’s success lies in its ability to go beyond traditional reference management programs to support each step of the academic research process. Citavi helps with all research tasks, from searching for sources, to annotating PDF articles and excepting quotations, to planning tasks and creating outlines, all the way to finalizing a formatted publication.
